Event Bucks are what you receive as payment for your volunteer work at LCOC.
How do I redeem Event Bucks
Redeem Event Bucks by going to any youth group function that our youth minister, Matt, schedules. This includes, but is not limited to, church camp at LRCA, ICYC, day trips, road trips, concerts and anything else that the youth group does.
What is the bottom line?
Get Involved is for any and every Junior and Senior high student at LCOC. For each hour of volunteer time, you are awarded with $5.00 in Event Bucks. Special volunteer opportunities may arise and offer Bonus Event Bucks. Event Bucks can be saved and redeemed for any Junior or Senior high youth function, that our youth minister, Matt, plans.

The junior and Senior high want to Get Involved
Our Junior and Senior High youth group is being encouraged to get up and “Get Involved” at LCOC, but we, the youth staff, need your help. We have students who need places to be plugged in and we are pretty certain that you have places to use them.
Our students will have time cards that will need to be initialed by the committee chair person who is over seeing the area in which the student is serving. These time cards will be turned into Matt who will award our students with “Event Bucks.” The “Event Bucks” will be redeemed by the students toward registration fees for youth events that Matt plans (including, church camp at LRCA, CIY, road trips, mission trips, etc).
This “Get Involved” program is two fold. Students will become more involved in the church and therefore grow the bond between generations. Secondly, students who are involved at LCOC will receive financial aid for going on trips with the youth group.
So, put on your thinking caps and come up with job descriptions for places our youth can volunteer. Submit these descriptions to getinvovled@lcoc-online.org or to the church office. We will also be placing a Job Board either inside or outside the Jr/Sr High classroom where jobs can be posted. The sooner we hear from you the better so we can encourage our kids to “get involved.”
